My scenario: I have Lumia with Windows Phone 8. I’m logged into Microsoft account. The phone is listed on account. I’m opening app page in web browser, I’m logging into my account. I have button «Get app» which I click, after that the app is linked to my account and it says «You own this app», but I don’t have option to download an app despite in system requirements it states that it supports windows phone 8. No button to install, open in Store app or anything. If the app supports muliple platforms, I get a button «Install on my devices», but then it says I don’t have any applicable devices.

Problem persists with any app I try to install I verified for example: Netflix, Instagram Installing with store app works ok, but the app I need to install is hidden from store. If you cannot install from within the Store app from your phone then the app is not supported, regardless of what it says in the System Requirements tab.

Contact the developers direct and ask them. Regarding problematic app – I am the developer and I have submitted the app that supports Windows Phone 8. The problem is the app is still in beta and I can’t acces it with store app, only with the store website link, which seems I can’t use to install it It was working few moths ago.

In your original post you state that «Installing with store app works ok», so I am now confused – can you install other apps from the Store on your phone or not?

I recall it worked how I described – the website opens Store app with on page. And I see it’s still working for some apps, eg. WhatsApp, but it’s not working for most which states are targeted for WP8. You need to follow up your issue with the hidden apps through the developer support channel, which is not here.

Apps should be installed on the phone from the Store app, not from the website. This has always been the default for published apps. If it has worked in an alternative way previously I am not aware of it. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.

That is exactly how it should work. Are you sure? This is the only way to access hidden in developement apps, by website link. This site in other languages x.
