So I’m trying to figure out how to get my dell connected and in doing so, stop my dell from disrupting my network when connecting. The new laptop is not capable to obtain a valid connection to your own configured Network. Thus it does its own dubious configuration and thus makes the other devices on the network incompatible with the new arrangement. Since it is both with wire and wireless, something is probably blocking the connection to the Router.

Start with the Wire connection, its configuration is much easier than the Wireless If the wire does not work the chance the Wireless will are close to 0.

If you have any kind of 3rd party Network Manager installed, like Bonjour, Netmagic, and the likes, or and, «Fancy» 3rd party security suits. Follow this process to make sure that the network aspects of the computer are On and configured Correctly. Check the Device Manager for valid Wire card entry. Switch Off the computer and the Router, Reboot the Router, and the computer. Make sure that the Software Firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If possible configure the Firewall correctly, or totally uninstall it to allow clean flow of local network traffic.

If the 3rd party software is uninstalled or disables, make sure that Windows native Firewall is On. Type Cmd in the Start Search text box. Allow elevation.
