We are currently running Windows Server R2 Enterprise and are looking to upgrade this to the Datacentre edition. The current server is also running as our primary domain controller. Will this wipe out any DC settings etc from the server? Personal i wouldn’t inplace upgrade a DC.

I always install it new as additional machine to the domain. I was looking at bringing the Enterprise Edition into our company standards. Our secondary DC is running on Server R2 DataCentre so was really looking to bring the primary DC in line with that edition with the least amount work.
